Some study strategies for spellers:

1. Be Organized. One thing that worked extremely well for me is lists. And I don’t mean lists of spelling words. Every month, I would write down a daily study plan and make sure I stick to it. I wrote down the exact things I would study each day, making sure.

2. Set realistic goals. We all aim high, but that doesn’t mean you should set unreasonable goals that simply can’t be achieved. For example, it’s reasonable to set aside 4 hours to study every day. What isn’t realistic is aiming to study 13 hours each day.

3. Take breaks. We all want to get the most of our time, but cramming lists isn’t the most efficient way to do it. Doing that can actually do worse for you, because it will result in a burn out. When you overwork yourself, you will lose focus and won’t be able to retain information correctly.

4. Be patient. Results don’t happen overnight, it takes months of practice to see improvement.
